$Stock photo: A rendered fractal practically indistinguishable from an artistic painting. Because it’s a mathematical render, it has a unique level of detail a different than a photograph of a painting or something drawn by hand digitally, or filtered through Photoshop or Gimp. While it has almost no visually apparent mathematical aspects, the algorithms from which it was generated do end up affecting the fine detail that we don’t notice consciously. Although, sometimes I wonder whether that method of creation truly produces something un-makable by human hand or normal digital alternation. Perhaps a painting filtered and swirled enough in a digital art program would result in no different detail than this render. Even so, this "painting" is at least as high quality and artistic as something drawn by a different method yet resulting in the same level of detail, and certainly has a different feel and style drawn with our currently available art programs, that all generate photos via the same general set of tools, e.g. the brushes, filters, distorts, blurs, and so on, we generally use.$
