Isaiah 60:19 "No longer will you need the sun or the moon for light, for the Lord your God will be your everlasting light, and he will be your glory." Taken this summer from near the top of Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. At nearly 12,000 feet this place feels a bit like the top of the world and the sun seemed so close you could touch it. A moment to savor as the last glimpse of the sun disapears behind the Rockies for another day! This was the real sky for the curious!

The break in the rainy day at sunset coupled with high tide being driven by the wind created some surging waves for me to use in the foreground and this gnarled limb or stump washed ahore at the right time for me to add it to the composition.   • Stock photo: Pensacola, FL, USA...Perdido Bay. I almost left yesterday, because when I arived at this location it looked as if a tornado was about to drop down from the sky! I hung around anyways. It was so dark and then suddenly to clouds parted a bit, enough to allow me this shot. Storm was clearing off to my left. TIFF available through email, JenEricRalston @cs.com . Whenever I seek inspiration I find myself heading for the water.This particular afternoon I spotted the limbs reflecting in among the rocks. I was blessed to arrive as the sun set in that exact spot.It literally made the water come alive before my eyes.I spent the next 10 minutes trying various shutterspeeds to get the right combination to hold the most light and yet give that feel of motion I sensed as I fired away/ Thanks for the tips, a bit of noise reduction applied and a slightly different crop
