![Stock photo: Red-Osier Dogwood, Red Osier Dogwood -- Deciduous shrub, erect to spreading, 18” to 9’ (.5-3 m) tall, often clumped; branches opposite, purple to red (sometimes green). Leaves are green in summer and brilliant reddish maroon in fall. Flowers appear at branch tips, are white, about 1/4” (5 mm), in dense, flat-topped clusters (cymes) about 3/4-2” (2-5 cm) across (May to July); berries white and 1/4” (6 mm).
