![Stock photo: Masters of the rocks. Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep are found in a wide range of areas in Western North America. Although people often think bighorns are found only in mountains, their habitat also includes some rocky desert areas. Except for man and hunting, their only real predator is the cougar. At times bighorn sheep are confused with the white bodied and black horned mountain goat, but they are very different species. ----------- Photo is also available as a higher resolution file.
