![Stock photo: Helicopters of the animal world. . Terrestrial (in the adult stage), yet usually near water and aquatic-like, long slender bodies often seen hovering over a pond, lake or stream, two (2) pairs of flattened wings stretched out from their sides when at rest, and eyes covering 90% of their head: those are the key identifiers of dragonflies.
