Hi Gina,
I would start out by saying I am 100 percent self taught. My only credentials are the quality of my work, www.griffithsphotos.com. With that being said I would say check out www.lynda.com they may be a good start and lead you into more directions.

Gina, If accreditation is important to you, I would suggest the New York Institute of photography.

http://www.nyip.com/

There's also Digital Photography School, free online weekly tips when you sign up, also stuff to pay for, but probably not accredited, not sure.
Good luck,

As a follow up...Lynda is not accredited and they do not want to be. If your soul purpose is learning you get everything college can give you and more with Lynda. Much of it is free but if you want access to everything which is over 20,000 videos it is a 25 dollar a month charge. You can cancel at any time or don't sign up at all and still have access to hundreds of free videos. Seriously it's as easy as watching tv but your learning what you love.

If getting accredited is important Nyip as Greg mentioned.

FYI: I have never been asked for my actually degree...paperwork and I have worked for many companies over my lifetime. I have performed over a thousand construction projects and have been asked for the paperwork maybe 3 of 1000. I think a good presentation and portfolio goes a long way. People judge who you are not as much you paper these days. People really only care that you can perform the job and benefit the company and attitude and getting along with others is as important. Without a good attitude you will be hard pressed to find any good job with or without the credentials. These are just my opinions and judgements from my track record. I have about 6 years of college education and I think if I threw 5-1/2 of those years out the window it would not have mattered.
If your a rocket scientist with those 12-14 years of college What are the odds of getting a job in a small country town known for farming with its population of 316. I have a education in CAD drafting and design but I'm a Roofer that loves photography. I refused to move to Chicago. Something to think about.
