Photographer's Description

This Afghan cadet on guard duty managed to find a somewhat comfortable position while the rest of his company conducted marksmanship training at the range. His duty was to ensure no unauthorized entry onto the range, such as these riders passing by on motorcycle. The riders' destination was a village just a short distance down the road.
