Photographer's Description

A bathing resort on the shores of the Dead Sea in Israel. The shores of this salt lake are the lowest point of dry land on earth. Tourists come here to float on the water, which is so salty it is impossible to sink (about 8 times saltier than the ocean). The mountains of Jordan are visible in the distance.
