The shore of the Dead Sea in Israel. You can see the salt crust on the shore from this hypersaline lake which is 8.6 times saltier than the ocean. The shore of the Dead Sea is 420 meters or 1378 feet below sea level and is the lowest point on Earth on dry land. Many minerals are extracted from it.
