Photographer's Description

The Carcross Desert is known as the smallest desert in the world, and was at one time a glacial lake bed. It is located near the town of Carcross (which takes it name from Caribou Crossing) between Whitehorse, Yukon and Skagway, Alaska. I have included this mainly to document this unique travel location. This replaces an earlier image.
