Photographer's Description

Tourist boat leaving the shipwreck at Smugglers Cove, in Zakynthos, Greece. The wideangle view, also shows the edge of the cove itself and some plane-shaped reefs. Zakynthos is one of the Ionian islands and is also known as Zante, a name stemming from the time when it was a Venetian colony. It suffered from a major earthquake in 1954, when all but one building was destroyed. It is also the home of one of the major Loggerhead Turtle breeding grounds. To be used under licence only, subject to agreed terms of the Royalty Free licence. Purchase of a licence does not indicate a transference of the rights and all copyrights remain with the photographer.
