Toadstool Geologic Park Hiking Trail. Parts of trail seem like a walk on the Moon. (See wide angle view Toadstool Park Photo in this Album to view example) Toadstool Park is northwest of Crawford, Nebraska - which is west of Chadron, NE, home of Chadron State College. Area is about 50 miles northwest of the Western Nebraska Sandhills. Toadstool Park area is also called the Nebraska Badlands

Interesting marked Interpretive hiking trail where you can see effects of the rain and wind over millions of years + some unusual fossil deposits with animal and bird "tracks" in the rocks. My wife is the lone other person on the trail ahead. Remote Western Nebraska Grasslands / Badlands area. Very peaceful and quiet hike.
