Courthouse Rock and Jailhouse Rock near Bridgeport, Nebraska which is about 35 miles southeast of Scottsbluff, NE

Two of the landmarks the Settlers in covered wagons used when coming west on the Historic Oregon Trail. Courthouse and Jailhouse Rocks are about 15 miles southeast of well known Chimney Rock. Rural Western Nebraska Sandhills area. Peaceful and quiet.

The rock on the right is overexposed. It would be nice to have a person walking toward the rocks to give prespective.

shot is way overexposed, color and focus totally washed out

Gene: Great photo. Sun direction and angle are perfect. I'll bet it was a marvelous sunset as well. Good depth of field.
