Photographer's Description

The pseudo-Bavarian castle, which has been called "the greatest hole in God's own miniature golf course," has plenty of turrets, spires, belfries, a moat, and a bell tower. The over-the-top Arthurian theme is omnipresent, with staff members in elaborate royal-court costumes, strolling performers in the Renaissance Village shops, and lingo such as "minstrel," "Roundtable," and "knight" attached to seemingly everything. It's perfect if your idea of heaven is a Renaissance faire; if not, you may dread Excalibur's enthusiastic embrace of all things Arthurian, to say nothing of the confusing layout.
