One of those you have to get wet to get the right angle shots. Kneeling in an eddy to get the camera angle low enough to capture the first leaves. My camera hanging a few inches over the rushing water. That water can get cold in October. I drip dry but the camera does not. One of my last shots this day as it began to rain quite hard soon after this one was taken. What a blessing that was. I hope you enjoy. (Thanks to MArc for spotting a couple of blemishes that needed cleaning up)

Wonderful colours make this a cracking shot, Mike. The leaf detail in the foreground works well. Ann :)

Well done Mike! DOF is great and I like the leaf on the rock in the foreground. It adds a nice touch!

Gorgeous autumn capture, Mike. The leaves on top of the boulders and those glimpsed from below the surface of the rushing stream are a perfect heralds of the imminent fall of the golden leaves still clinging to their sources of life.
