Borthwick Castle Hotel is located about 25 mins from Edinburgh city centre and is an amazing place to visit/stay/have dinner. It has loads of history linked to it, Mary Queen of Scots, The Earl of Bothwell and Oliver Cromwell. It was built in 1430, still stands and caters for Weddings etc. An amazing place to stay....
