What a great contrast between the round shape of the tree and the angular shape of the mountains and pines in the background.

Jan, beuatiful composition,love how the trees miimick the summits in the distance nice range of color. I'd like to provide a numeric rating, but I have not figured out how to do so yet......

Wonderful light and shadows on the Alps, which the foreground complements beautifully. Love the angle of the golden meadow, and the tree provides an interesting and artistic canopy through which to view the distant mountains. Extraordinary beauty!

Good use of the polarizer, nice composition, the tree provides a nice stark contrast to the beauty behind and the color below
