Photographer's Description

A house of cards starts tumbling down. Conceptual shot to illustrate instability - could be used in for a variety of needs from an unstable stock market, investing, and banking, to unstable home life, emotions, etc. NO PS here - just a slower shutter speed to show the movement of the cards:-) **Second place winner in betterphoto's monthly photo contest and a best photo of the month (April 2005) at photography-unlimited.com.**

Very clever piece of work, and superb editing skills. Everything about this shot from the background to the sharpness of the cards to the placement in the frame to the sense of movement and impending chaos is a testament to your high level of craftsmanship and artistry.

Wonderful job of illustrating the motion of the cards falling down. Perfect color, and oh my, how patient you are to get these set up.

Beautiful shot Jan, good motion. How many times did you try this before you got the shot? Nice stock.
