|
Job 37:10-11" When Blizzards roar out of the north and freezing rain crusts the land. It's God's breath that forms the ice, it's God's breath that turns the lakes and rivers solid." My nephew spotted this bit of cascading water for me on trip to play in the snow. A bit of rock, a bit of runoff and cold temps create a canvas of misty breath, glittering ice and a solidarity of rock. Soon this will all be frozen over and burried in snow until Memorial Day when the spring will melt it enough to thaw

Amazing clarity of ice combined with the smoothness of the water flowing achieved with ND filter makes it a stunning shot!

I really enjoy the balance of lighting in this image, also the contrasting tones of the rocks and ice. Nice capture of the flowing water against the solid ice too. Well done Mike.

Wherever perfect places are, you will find them and you are able to realize perfect pictures of them. Do you produce calendars? What is a ND3 filter? Thanks for sharing.

Ahh I can nearly feel the freezing temperature. Mike you have caught this ice and stream perfectly. The water is seemless and flowing, and the ice is crystal clear! 10+
