|
Psalm 145: 14 " The Lord upholdeth all who fall." When I spotted these two fallen leaves caught on a limb hanging just above the rushing water I was struck by the power of the message. For in life how many times do we fall only to be lifted up by our faith, our friends and or family. There are even times when we are lifted up by complete strangers. While this is probably not the most technically perfect image I have ever taken it certainly reached my heart like none other. I hope you enjoy.

fall is such an incredible time for photography. leafs brief life and there brilliant death intrigue me . I find that leafs are more times ,more beautiful - when they are dying. all the rich colors.
This photo is very good . the lighting on the leafs are just perfect.
also the action with the rushing wave , make this image POP !!!! It reminds me how fast life can pass us by. We must remember to stop and smell the roses.

Congratulations on the sale! It's a dynamic shot. And I appreciate the scriptural reference. For some of us, faith is integral to our photography.

Great colour and great photo. I don't buy into religous patronage and think people's faith should be kept seperate to their photography.

A nice abstract. I especially like the contrast produced by the bright, warm orange against the drab, gray background. I also like the contrast between the subtle swoosh of the gray and the stark lines of the twigs & leaves. The bright area of background near the top draws attention away from the two focal points of color. I'd suggest a simple crop.

The background also resembles a dismal gray late autumn sky --- the grayness adds to the message. Come Eastertime, you'll have to photograph some budding leaves and generate a companion photograph. (By the way, the technical quality looks pretty good to me --- nice shadows on the leaves.)

Beautiful, simple photo -- just a few colors and perfect focus on leaves and branches makes a striking image. For me the gray, out of focus background makes it. Nice one!
