|
Taken at the Prosser Balloon Fair, they light up the balloons at night to dazzle the crowds with the flames and brilliant colors. I was lucky enough to get this from the infield! Evidently, there is quite an art to getting these inflated. First they fill them full of cool air with big fans and then careful hit the burners to inflate them further with hot air. They carefully angle the flames so as not to burn the silk!

WOW! That IS Spectacular! Great symetrical composition, great colors and detail. Very original capture of balloons! The darkness adds tremendously to the image. Love it Mike! Nice capture

"Lucky enough" Eh? Seems like the harder you work, the luckier you get. Brilliant photo. The other balloons in the background are the perfect framing for central one. If this doesn't sell it means tha no one is looking.

Fantastic balloon shot. The light against the nighttime sky and the other balloons is just super. Great clarity, too.

This is a nice one, I like the close crop with the light of the burner illuminating the balloon from the inside.
