Photographer's Summary - Daniel Lang

I have been working as a professional photographer for the past 12 months. I would categorize most of my work as "traditional". I enjoy travel photography as well as candids. Much of my work expresses the use of positive and negative space while considering the value of negative spaces as secondary subject matter complimenting the intent of my work. I enjoy the simplicity of monochromatic values while utilizing dynamic point of views to help carry those values into another light. I enjoy creating harmony as a design element in my work in order to tie together the overall message the piece is intended to convey as a whole. My color work is vibrant. I love working with saturated tones and values that tend to pop off the paper. I put a lot of thought and time considering the entire composition as a whole.
