About Me

Started photography whiile in Viet Nam. My first camera, a Topcon 35 mm SLR. 1968. Sold it- Bad thing to do. Grandfather gave me his 35mm purchased in Germany around 1940. Still have it. My Wife bought me a Sears K500 SLR in 79. Still have it. My first Digital- a Sony Floopy disk. Still have it. Now have my CoolpixL100 and having a great time taking pictures that I can download to my laptop. Looking forward to my next choice in a camera-- DSLR. Cannon or Nikon. I have a son who has taken some direction from me and is doing well with his photography work in Louisiana in the Military. My interests are People- Nature-Sports-Music-and gardening with my wife. Raised 10 Children- have 28 grandchildren and 9 great-grand children. Do I take pictures? Yeh ------ I take pictures.
