| Suggestions to Increase Sales |
- Check the What's Selling section and
the Search Spy listings
regularly and you will know what type of photo subjects are selling.
- Review the tips for Selling Photos. Be
sure to read about which subjects are needed most.
- Prepare your photos: adjust levels, curves, color balance, and other essential
settings to produce the best looking images. Rotate photos in needed and cut off
all unnecessary parts.
- Always try to submit the highest resolution file you have available.
- Avoid placing excessive frames, borders, vignetting, etc. around your images.
- Special note about flowers, pets, sunsets, etc.: ShutterPoint has
plenty of them! We love them too, but unless your photo truly stands out, it
will become just another shot in the thousands of others.
