  • Stock photo: USA, New York, shot during Columbus Day 2004, 3 years after 9/11. Construction cranes visible at place where tween towers were. However, intention of this photo was to capture highlights during short 10 minutes trip to Ellis Island - island welcomed more then 20 millions of new immigrants from entire world to USA during peak immigration years 1900-1925. Lot of them died to reach this view point, to get to USA and start NEW life. Right now Ellis Island is Museum maintained by National Park Service. I never saw more powerful historic photos as there. For me, this view became special.
