  • Stock photo: I have never seen a Mercedes typewriter before. This one was found in a shop/museum in Romania. If you notice, the is grease on the typewriter. The Museum put grease on the keys to keep anyone from touching the typewriter. If you did - you got greased.

  • Stock photo: The Salem Shotwell Covered Bridge was first located south of Opelika in the Lee Co., Alabama and a tree fell on the bridge, damaging it and caused it to fall into creek. This being one of the few Covered Bridges left in Alabama, Civic Clubs came to the rescue and restored the Bridge relocating the Bridge in the Opelika, Alabama City Park. (Better know around here as Monkey Park.) The Bridge is of wood and uses pegs to hold the timbers together and has a nice brook running under the covered bridge. The project should be finished in the near future.
