I was lucky enough to get this from the infield! Evidently, there is quite an art to getting these inflated. First they fill them full of cool air with big fans and then careful hit the burners to inflate them further with hot air. Conditions must be right for this phenomena to occur; not too wet, not too dry, etc. There are many sandy places in the US that exhibit this phenomenon and the more unsettling occurence of &quot;booming&quot; sand.
