Get More Storage For Your Buck
ShutterPoint is now able to offer more storage for all existing storage space plans!
That's right members, you just sit back and watch your storage space double without you paying an extra penny. This is due to the lowered costs of server space - thanks recession!
Here are the new storage plans offered by ShutterPoint.com:
Basically, the price levels remained the same, but the storage is twice as much as it used to be. The 50 MB plan will no longer be offered but please welcome a new 500 MB plan!
To make it fair, all existing members have been given extra storage in their accounts. For example if you originally purchased 100 MB for a year and paid $29, your storage space has been increased to 200MB with no additional charge. Just be sure to log out and log back in to see the updated storage space on your account.
Enjoy your freebie storage!
Improved Grid Editor
ShutterPoint has restructured the image data editor (also known as View as Table feature), which is used to conveniently input image data for new uploads.
The image data editor was redesigned to make it even easier for contributors to input or edit image data. The new edit screen features a thumbnail of the image along with input fields for most of the image's meta data, including description and release assignments.
ShutterPoint Policy Update
Starting on August 8 2009, we will be requiring model releases for all photos containing nudity where models are considered recognizable and uniquely identifiable.
Currently, any photos containing nudity but lacking model releases are offered for sale for editorial use only. When the new rule goes in effect, you will find that these photos will become impossible to purchase (with any license) until a model release is submitted. If no releases are submitted within a week from implementation of the new rule (or after new images are submitted), we will have to delete these images from your account.
