Image Contest Series
ShutterPoint began hosting various image contests through our Photo Request System.
Just recently, we had announced and awarded winners of St. Patrick's Day Theme Contest and Easter Theme Contest.
How does it work? Simply check the Photo Request section on the home page for active image contests and submit your images! Currently, there are two active contests - Individuality Concept and Earth Day Theme Contests - there is still time to compete!
For each contest, five contest winners receive free membership consisting of 500MB of additional storage space and a one year storage extension. Winners and winning images of the image contests are announced at the ShutterPoint Blog at the end of each contest.
Planned future themes for our contests include:
- Mother's Day Theme
- Father's Day Theme
- Independence Day Theme
It is a good idea to start planning your themed shoots now. You may want to think about common and untraditional representations of the mentioned themes.

Instant Image Preview Feature
Isn't it neat to preview images without having to click? Users of ShutterPoint no longer have to wait for the next page to load. We have incorporated a feature that allows to display a larger version of the image when simply holding the mouse over the small image thumbnail.
The preview box can display image license type, resolution, price range, and description along with the image (this varies slightly depending on a section viewed). The new feature is super convenient for both photographers and image buyers!
